Capacity: 0.5 t/h - 100 t/h
Certification: CE & SGS & ISO
Final Pellet: 6-12mm
Product Description
Coffee is one of the top commodities produced and commercialized worldwide, and the processing of coffee generates significant amounts of agricultural waste, ranging from 30% to 50% the weight of the total coffee produced, depending on the type of processing. Coffee pulp and husk are the first by-products and account for 29 and 12% of the overall coffee cherry. Pulp and husk are rich in carbohydrates (35–85%), soluble fibers (30.8%), mineral (3–11%), proteins (5–11%), and bioactive compounds such as tannins, cyanidins, chlorogenic acid, caffeine and polyphenols.
Why Choose Coffee Husk to Make Biofuel Pellets?
As we all know, dense, high calorific value and easy to process, wood sawdust is the most suitable material for biofuel pellet plant. Coffee husk has the similar element with wood sawdust. Although not as good as wood sawdust, coffee husk is still a good materials for making pellets. Coffee husk is in uniform size and shape, so it's easy to be processed into biomass pellets.

Features
1. Feeder: feeding raw material into the pellet making chamber.the feeder is made of stainless steel.
2. Forced feeding unit: since the raw material is fluffy, and the bulking value is higher, we equip the force feeding device.
3. Pellet making unit: ring die and press roller inside work together to make the biomass wood raw material into wood pellet.
4. Main motor: driving the pellet making system.
5. We adopt the super quality Siemens brand motor in our machine.
Abundant Raw Materials and Necessary Market Requirement for Coffee Husk Pellets
With a large market demand, coffee has a broad production area around the world. One of the famous coffee cultivation countries is Brazil. Brazil country's availability of land, water and labor has allowed coffee increased production and exports. Annually, Brazil could produce upwards of 150,000 tons of coffee husk. Besides Brazil, Coffee also has a wide planting in Colombia, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc. Coffee husk can be transformed into a value-able fuel -- coffee husk pellets and becoming an important local energy source. In Brazil coffee husk is mainly used in power plant for the purpose of electricity generating. There are still a amount of coffee husk pellets used for home heating etc.
10 Top Coffee-Producing Countries in 2020
While some of the world's top coffee-producing nations are well-known, others may come as a surprise. More than 70 countries produce coffee, but the majority of global output comes from the top five producers: Brazil, Vietnam, Colombia, Indonesia, and Ethiopia.

Advantages of coffee husk/coffee grounds pellets
1. These pellets are capable of producing a high heat value in comparison to the pellets of agricultural waste.
2. The cost of production of these pellets is low as the materials are available in abundance due to the huge production of coffee in various places. The machines that are used for the process of pelletizing the coffee husks and coffee grounds are also not very expensive.
3. The agricultural wastes and the forestry residues are collected from the paper plants, croplands, sawmill, and furniture factory, whereas coffee husks and grounds are the leftovers of the cultivated land or brewed coffee. This product does not cause any harm to the human body.
4. Pellets are a steady source and they can be used freely and easily whenever you want. Additionally, they do not take much space for storage in comparison to the other biomass fuels. They can be burnt conveniently and if you have the pellet stoves, you do not have to handle the firewoods.
5. It requires a little more time than firewood, but it is safer and simpler. Another important thing that you should remember is that you can adjust the shape of the pellets for meeting the requirements. Pellets not only help in saving energy but ensure that you do not harm the environment any manner.
